QTI AGREES TO ACQUIRE CORNERSTONE SENSORS

PURCHASE STRENGTHENS COMPANY'S CAPABILITIES IN GROWING LABORATORY AND
MEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRY


BOISE, ID December 19th, 2011 –QTI (Quality Thermistor, Inc.) a privately held provider of temperature sensors including NTC/PTC Thermistors, RTD's & Thermocouples for defense, aerospace, medical, refrigeration and HVAC, today announced that it has agreed to acquire Southern California based, Cornerstone Sensors. Terms of the transaction, were not disclosed.

Founded in 1992, Cornerstone Sensors' management team combines over 100 years of successful experience in engineering, manufacturing, and assembling temperature sensors. This experience is offered to its customers in technical expertise, quality products, and cost-effective temperature solutions. The company has sales, manufacturing, engineering, and administrative facilities in Southern California and a modern assembly facility in Mexico.

Cornerstone Sensors, Inc. manufactures precision NTC thermistors, and thermistor assemblies for temperature measurement, control, indication, and compensation applications. Cornerstone Sensors' NTC thermistor technology offers a variety of product configurations to meet a multitude of design and engineering requirements. NTC thermistor products combined with a commitment to quality, customer service, and competitive prices are the foundations of our Company.

QTI completed the acquisition through the purchase of Cornerstone's Vista CA and Tecate, BC Mexico operations which will begin business as QTI starting January 1, 2012. Former President of Cornerstone Sensors, Gregg Lavenuta and former VP of Sales & Marketing Dan McGuillicuddy have agreed to stay on with QTI and will perform critical leadership functions as the company moves forward.
