USB Thermometer QTI just developed a precision temperature sensor that is combined with a simple USB device to stream real-time temperature data. Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) has recently prepared a new Qualified Parts List Directory (QPLD) for procurement of products governed by the NASA/GSFC specifications. These specifications are prepared whenever a part for space cannot be procured from military or other government-controlled specifications. Listing of products in this QPLD is contingent on satisfying the stringent qualification requirements in the latest issue of the specification. QTI is please to offer a selection of 0805 and wire bondable part style in both PTC and NTC thermistors. |

QTI has just released an RTD element in a T0220 package style. Our new RTD product is available as either a 100 or a 1k ohm package. The tolerances can be Class B or Class 2B. New RoHS compliant miniature thermistors are ideal for measuring temperature in confined areas. The new Micro Tube thermistor is an epoxy filled polyimide tube. The low thermal mass of the temperature sensor allows for a very fast thermal time response. Air/gas flow measurement using NTC Thermistors
Measurement of air or gas flow with NTC thermistors can be implemented relatively easily using the following approach. This
method utilizes a self heated thermistor to monitor the heat dissipation capacity of a gas in a manner similar to a hot wire anemometer, and a second thermistor is employed to compensate for any variation in temperature of the gas stream.

QTI is pleased to announce our new factory representative for South American countries. Felipe Bahamondes S.A. was founded in January 1986. In our beginnings we served mainly the fresh fruit industry and became known as ATS – AGRO. We designed and implemented the first software for supervision and monitoring of fumigation processes of fresh fruit requiring quarantine treatments with methyl bromide gas.
